Legal Information

Here you will find legal information on the content of the Migros website.

Scope of application

This information and rules on use relate to the SoFine website, the ProLaTerre website, the SoFine for Chefs website and other websites that refer to  https://www.sofine.eu/nl/, https://www.prolaterre.com/ and https://www.sofineforchefs.com/ (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “website”).

They are managed by the legal or natural person listed in the imprint of the portal (hereinafter “operator”). We expressly reserve the right to special regulations in the respective portal as well as on other websites of legal entities of the Migros community.

The information and the rules of use can change at any time. The changes are binding.

Intellectual property and other rights

Subject to other regulations, the operator is the owner of the portal. All brands, names, titles, logos, images, designs, texts and other materials used on it belong to a legal entity of the Migros community or a contractual partner of the same.

Accessing, downloading or copying pages does not acquire any rights (rights of use, intellectual property rights, etc.). The (complete or partial) reproduction, transmission (electronically or by other means), modification, linking or use of the portal for public or commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.

Disclaimer of liability

The operator excludes any liability (including negligence) that could result from access or inability to access the portal or individual elements of it and from its use. Access to the portal and its use as well as the backup or archiving of the transmitted data are not guaranteed.

The portal contains links to third party websites. These pages are not operated or monitored by the operator. The operator rejects any responsibility for the content and compliance with the statutory data protection regulations by the operator of linked sites.

Data transfer via the internet

The Internet is an open network that is accessible to everyone and is therefore generally not considered a secure environment. Although the individual data packets are generally transmitted in encrypted form, this does not apply to the sender and recipient. Furthermore, it is possible that data is transferred abroad and thus possibly to a country with a lower level of data protection than Switzerland or the European Economic Area, even if the sender and recipient are in Switzerland or the European Economic Area. The operator excludes any liability for the security of data while it is being transmitted via the Internet.

Newsletter

Newsletters are only sent to customers at their express request. Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Information on this can be found on the relevant newsletters.

Processing of personal data

Personal data are processed in accordance with our data protection declaration.

Prices and availability of products

The operator endeavours to keep product labelling (ingredients, nutritional information, allergy information, country of production, etc.) and any price information on the portal up to date, but cannot guarantee this. In particular in the event of changes to the product, change of supplier, etc. It can happen that different variants of the same product (e.g. different production countries, manufacturers, formulations) are on offer in the branches / in online shops at the same time. For reasons of practicality, however, the operator usually restricts himself to specifying a variant on the portal. Therefore, when purchasing, always pay attention to the labelling on the specifically purchased product or packaging and any enclosures. These take precedence over the information on the portal and other websites

Any prices quoted are (subject to other indications) net including VAT in Euros (EU).
